Story of Elite Mafia Families

For years in Obsidia City, a brutal power struggle raged between four elite mafia families: the Fayyad, Wolfs, Kaizen, and Draco clans. These families waged relentless wars and assassinations to seize the city’s throne, plunging Obsidia into an era of endless conflict known as “The Great Families War.”

The city descended into darkness and danger. Blood stained every alley, corpses piled in the streets, and crime ran rampant. Though the war spanned generations, no victor emerged. Obsidia became a city of anarchy.

That was until the rise of Zayne Fayyad, the fifth-generation leader of the Fayyad family. In a masterstroke of deception and cunning, he launched a secret operation that swiftly eliminated his enemies. The Kaizen and Draco families surrendered and pledged allegiance to Fayyad. But the Wolfs family mysteriously vanished. Their disappearance became a chilling mystery, one no one dared to question.

In the end, victory belonged entirely to the Fayyads. Standing atop the ruins of war, Zayne crowned himself the first KAISAR—a title signifying absolute rule over Obsidia. Politicians, law enforcement, even the elected mayor—all were subject to his command. Regardless of who the people voted into office, the mayor ultimately answered to the Kaisar.

Synopsis

letter

“My only intention was to protect you. Nothing more.”
— Hayden Fayyad

After his brother was killed in a mysterious explosion, Hayden Fayyad was sent by his father—Kaisar, the title given to the mafia king who rules the city of Obsidia—on a secret mission. Hayden was ordered to become the undercover bodyguard of a girl named Mikayla, who was believed to be the next target of assassination.

Mikayla Ayaz is a religious teacher living in a remote, secluded village, cut off from the outside world. To get close to her without raising suspicion, Hayden is forced to disguise himself as an ustaz (religious teacher). In doing so, he faces troubling questions:
Why is Mikayla involved in this deadly conflict?
And can he uncover the mastermind behind his brother’s death?

KAISAR tells the story of how two souls, born into completely different worlds, come together to write a romance in the
midst of a war between faith and power.

Kaisar Reviews

9/10!! At first, I was scared it’d be cringe because it’s a mafia genre—but Kaisar was totally fine. And even though I expected a romance plot between the ML and FL, it still made me cry badly because of their “unspoken love” for each other.

10/10 Super good—especially because the author is a guy, yet he wrote such a strong female character. It's rare to find that. Love it so much.
